Does the Springfield Township Fire Department install and check child safety seats?

Yes. We offer car seat installation by our personnel who have been trained through Safe Kids Worldwide, National CPS Certification Training. Car seats are installed by appointment only, generally between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., however, appointment requests at other times may be accommodated for special circumstances. Please note, it is important that you call for an appointment because there are times when a certified car seat installer is not available.
